Just picked up a copy of the first issue of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book the other day because I thought the girls would like it. They found it interesting, but I think they like watching the show better. Derpy was a little upset with how she was portrayed; she told me that she wouldn't be so easily drawn into a trap. Rainbow, on the other hand, was very happy with the comic. The three of us can't wait until the second issue to come out.

Note* this may contain spoilers for those who have not read the comic and want to, so I'm sorry if it spoils anything.

Edit* I can't believe it; this pic has only been up for a few hours and already it's topped both my most comments and most viewed (I know, my stats aren't that high, but it's still exciting for me) =D All I need now are a few more favs and I'll be good.

The comics, or the ponies? The ponies, I'm pretty sure were sold only through hot topic in the U.S., but I don't know about distributors outside of the States (I do know that you can find them on Ebay and Amazon). As for the comics, pretty sure you can order them online, or get digital copies from itunes for IOS devices, and there should be a website to get them for non IOS devices.
