Luna’s Resent
Dearest sister,
Why are you
More cherished?
Aren’t I as lovely as you?
Does the light of my moon
Not shine as brightly
As your sun?
Why then do these ponies
Shun me,
Drive me into the darkness,
And Love you unconditionally?
Tell me, my sister,
Do you love me?
Do you still favor me
Over all other ponies?
When all others cower,
Would you embrace me
As you did when
We were young?
You are the only one
Who can see me,
Not as the harbinger
Of darkness
But the bringer of peace.
If you do,
Why then do you not
Make them see the real me?
There is no love here;
Not any longer.
For you, I am but a shadow;
So easily whisked away
Under the rising sun.
When it is my time to shine,
You turn away, waiting
To bring forth your day,
And chase my precious moon
From the sky
And veil my stars
In your overbearing light.
I denounce you, Celestia
Never again shall I call you
Sister.
Your sun will be removed,
And in its place,
My glorious moon will shine.
Then it will be I who is loved.
Prepare yourself Celestia,
The nightmare you have created
Has come to power.
Now bow to me
And tremble in the darkness
Which I bring forth this night.
So natural yet so hard to understand at the same time.
It is strange to understand why some one who owns the night sky might feel jealousy of the hazy glow of day.
Your words are wonderful
